The Designing for Organizational Effectiveness Certificate is a program associated with the Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change (MSLOC) in Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy.

This site is a node in a network of blogs and resources that are a key part of certificate activities.

The certificate is designed for senior managers and professionals who wish to innovate in strategic leadership roles encompassing talent, culture and organizational effectiveness. It will be valuable for professionals in human capital, organizational development, organization effectiveness or strategic talent development roles, as well as leaders whose responsibilities cross these disciplines.

Certificate candidates translate theory into practice through a 12-month, living design case study. The design case results in developing an innovative solution to an organizational effectiveness challenge candidates choose to explore. The solution will be shaped by input and insights from courses, peers in the program, faculty, and other experts within our professional and academic network.

Candidates document their learning journey throughout the certificate program in digital learning portfolios. Some posts from individual portfolios are syndicated in the Perspectives category of this site.
